About Us
My name is Samantha Ash, I am a HCPC paramedic who works in primary care and sports events and my daughters name is Kelleigh Ash who has 5 years experience as a Technician with the ambulance service and 6 years experience within the care industry. Together we have a combined 26 years experience within the NHS.
Through our careers, we have noticed there is a large population that live isolated lives because they can not hear well, this often means they communicate with family and carers by shouting, which always makes them sound angry. They often get frustrated by not hearing well and often stop trying to communicate. This leads to isolation and a huge decrease in their cognitive skills.
Although some GP surgeries offer ear irrigation, they generally do not offer a home service, meaning that those that are truly housebound can not access irrigation, which in turn means they cannot have a hearing referral for hearing aids.
Whilst we would always encourage clients to check whether their surgery will offer this service for free, we are happy to work with clients in their home settings.
We are both fully trained in warm water irrigation, fully insured to work in clients houses and have a continuous DBS subscription which can be checked at any time.
